How did you start playing sport?
I started swimming lessons when I was very young – at the age of about three.

What sports did you play when you were a child?
I did a bit of karate – I went to a club after school – but I stopped going once I got into swimming and I was having to put in more hours of training.

What do you enjoy about sport?
I like feeling fit, I like travelling the world and meeting lots of different people.

How do you keep fit and healthy?
Obviously, my swimming keeps me fit and healthy. I try and eat lots of healthy food – lots of nice veggies! I drink lots of water and make sure I get early nights.

Who was the biggest influence on your sporting career?
My parents because they have been so supportive. They put in a lot of time and effort – taking me back and forth for training when I was younger. And my coach Dave Haller.

How important do you think Dragon Sport is?
It’s hugely important that kids are not just sitting around but that they are getting active in sports that they enjoy.

What impact do you think it will have on Welsh sport ?
In the long-term, it will have a positive impact on Welsh sport. For the majority, Dragon Sport will mean that youngsters can kick-off healthy, active habits. But it might just unearth a future Olympian too!
