PLAYING THE GAME: Mark out an area using cones. Players surround the Leader who stands in the middle of the area with a bucket full of balls or beanbags. As quickly as possible, the leader must roll the balls one at a time in all directions. The players must retrieve one ball at a time and return it to the bucket. The aim is for the players to never have an empty bucket.
VARIATIONS: Alter the size of the area to make the game easier or harder. Children could work in pairs with one collecting and throwing the ball to their partner who must put the ball back in the bucket. They could then swap roles.
