GAME: MUSICAL CONES
PLAYING THE GAME: Spread cones around playing area randomly (ensure there are at least a couple more than the number of pupils). Each pupil stands by a cone and on your signal everyone moves cone to cone. Start slow.
As pupils run between cones, on blow of whistle, they must run to the nearest (no doubling up). Begin to remove cones, one or two at a time, as in musical chairs. When somebody is out (and it is easy to engineer this, if necessary!) either get them to join in a pair or group of 3 to make a chain and continue to play / feed into another group. Who is the last individual remaining?
VARIATIONS:
Introduce different methods of carrying / moving with a ball. |
