Game: Sporting Statues
Playing the Game:
Working inside a coned area, children find a partner and collect a football between them. On command both children move off around the grid in different directions- player number 1 dribbling the ball, player number 2 just running. When the whistle is blown, players must find their partner, place one foot each on the ball and form a statue. The Organiser should look for quickest pair or most inventive statue and award points. Game then continues with player 2 dribbling the ball this time.
Variations:
Children can carry any piece of equipment relevant to the session and join to make a statue
