A swarm of South East Wales primary school children was today lured into the clutches of a Welsh Dragon as they immersed themselves in a host of sporting activities at the Dragon Sport Extravaganza at the National Indoor Athletics Centre in Cardiff (7 April 2008).

DRAGON'S ROARING SUCCESS CELEBRATED BY MERTHYR SCHOOLS 
CHILDREN from across Merthyr Tydfil followed in the footsteps of international sprinting stars at a special event to promote youth sport. More than 800 children from schools across south-east Wales descended on the National Indoor Athletics Centre for the inaugural Dragon Sport Extravaganza.
